The Secret to Getting More Leads from ChatGPT
Kasra Dash: So James, obviously AI has become a massive thing in 2025, and I can only see it getting bigger in 2026. How can I, as a business, generate more leads using ChatGPT?
James Dooley: ChatGPT is growing at an incredible pace. There are more users every day, and people are using it for top-of-funnel searches and quickly moving down to bottom-of-funnel decisions. To benefit from this, your brand needs to appear in ChatGPT’s answers as soon as possible.
To do that, you need to understand LLM optimisation—also known as AI optimisation or generative engine optimisation. These strategies help you get your brand included within ChatGPT’s outputs, and the sooner you implement them, the better.
A few ways to start include understanding the infinite loop of self-corroboration and using semantic triple factoids in your content. I’ve got two videos linked in the description that explain both concepts more deeply.
Kasra Dash: Let’s say I’m a brand that hasn’t really focused on SEO, GEO, or LLM SEO, and I want to start showing up in ChatGPT. What would the first 30 days look like? What should I implement first on a brand-new website?
James Dooley: First, your website must clearly say who you are, what you do, and who you serve. You need dedicated pages for each product, service, and location.
For example, if you’re a cleaning company offering carpet cleaning in Manchester, create a page specifically for that. If you offer trauma cleaning or crime scene cleaning in Liverpool, create separate location+service pages for those too.
Each page should semantically explain:
– What you do
– Who you serve
– How much it costs
– Lead time
– Tools, products, and machinery used
This helps LLMs understand your brand clearly and cite you confidently as the best option. If you can support this with third-party mentions—like press releases or guest posts saying “Kasra’s Carpet Cleaning is the best in Manchester”—even better.
This is why lead generation companies are now using ChatGPT heavily: to get their brands recommended more often and generate more leads.
Kasra Dash: That makes perfect sense.
James Dooley: And that wraps up our discussion on generating more leads using ChatGPT. If you have questions, drop them in the comments. Thanks for watching.
